So we finally found a house and we moved in on Wed morning. We have spent the last two days unpacking and trying to find dishes, pots and pans, etc. We feel very blessed to have found a small house with a beautiful yard for the dogs. Here in Bolivia small houses are few and far between because there is no middle class so they are either gigantic or made out of scrap metal. Here are a few pictures of our house:

Our kitchen.
Our living and dining room.
View of Cochabamba from our house.
This next week is a busy one for our team as three new families will be arriving and staying for various lengths of time ranging from 2 weeks to 1 year. Natalie and I will spend a day with each ministry area of our team, construction, orphanage care, and team management, next week and hopefully by the end of the week we will have a clearer picture of what we will be doing over the next year. That is all for now. We will probably post again sometime this weekend depending on our schedule. We now have internet at our house so we will be on Skype almost every night if you want to talk to us. We miss you all and hope that all is well.

Week One
So we still don´t have a house yet but we are looking. Our first week here has been a lot of driving around and looking for houses or apartments. We did get to participate in baby washing at the town square last night and we have been helping in the restaurant that the Timmers started to support the orphanages when we can. Once we get settled we will be able to really dive into our work here. We got really good news today that Ben and Tenesha are coming to visit us the first two weeks of September! It will be nice to see faces from home and have something to look forward to. Thanks for the encouraging emails and updates from home. Hopefully our next post will have pictures of our house. Hope everyone is doing well.

We Are Here!
We arrived safely last night at 7:30 pm! Things are going well. We are looking at potential houses right now and will hopefully have one by the end of tomorrow. It is weird to think that we are going to be here for a year. Not sure it has completely set in yet. But it is great to be back and really good to see the Timmers, the couple that started the ministry, again. Right now we have to go to an internet cafe in order to post, but when we have a house figured out we hope to have internet therer and will be able to post more often. We will also start posting pictures once we have internet at home. Hope everyone is doing well back in the States!

La Paz
We are safely in La Paz! We got in around 5 this morning and will be here in the airport until our flight to Cochabamba leaves at 7 pm. By the way, for those of you that don't know we are on east coast time here in Bolivia. We should be in Cochabamba by 7:30 pm and in the intern house by 8:30. The dogs have done really well, probably better than us. We are both very tired and ready to get a good night's sleep tonight. I will try to post when we get there but it might not happen until tomorrow morning. Hope you are all doing well.
